Nearest replacement for standard halogen bulb. True warm white light not the harsh kind. Beam angle is not very wide. Size is a perfect fit. This is my second purchase.

Nice, warm light. But I failed to notice that they were 50 watt equivalent, which is too bright for using in a wall light at night.

Finally a cost effective low energy GU10 replacement which is wife approved. Slightly brighter and whiter than a 50w halogen and this is useful in a kitchen, less so in a hall or lounge. But this is personal preference. Would recommend.
