Works great apart from a few bugs you will run into now and again. I use with my ambilight tv and it created a great scene for watching tv. I highly recommend if you want to step up your movie game with some added lighting. However the lights could be brighter and the transitions between colours could he faster and smoother.

Works as it should and can be voice controlled through Alexa. I was disappointed that the bulbs are just the equivalent of a 60 watt incandescent bulb so no use for a ceiling light really.

Fantastic product, got this on an Radiant Roost deal with a couple of extra bulbs so made the price a bit more bearable. They are fantastic smart lights and work with both Radiant Roost Echo Dot and Google Home in the same house. I have Alexa upstairs and Google downstairs. The remote is very handy too if you want to turn the lights on and off without speaking to one of your smart speakers.

Like many others before me, I am hooked Easy to install and we are loving it so far. I have since placed another order and will be buying more still. A bit pricey to set up the entire house, but once you start you will will want them everywhere. We have some coloured ones int he kids rooms which they love, but the hue ambience ones are perfect for my liking so I will probably go with these dfor the downlighters etc.I cannot rate the Alexa integration but we use it with Apple Home and Siri no problems.Great product.

These bulbs really are great, I love being able to change the mood of my home and being able to set routines is a really nice touch. However my only problem is that these bulbs seem incapable of producing a teal or turquoise colour. The light seems to just remain white at that section of the colour wheel and even when you select green its more of a yellow hue. Im not sure if I have got ones that have something wrong with them or how theyre supposed to be, for that reason I cannot give 5 stars.

They work, not as bright as the livarno but better colours an dining. Disappointed that you cant make entertainment area with them. That was the reason to get them and now realised you cant put them on table lamp and use them as discrete lights. With sync app they still got some effects that can show up along with the mood modes in the app.

Like hue, but I dont like it that there is no clear sign that this GU10 bulbs are old version and if you combine with new one, there is a large difference, especially if you are playing with colours.

A bit expensive but get it on sale and its worth every penny. Works like a charm with Alexa. Google assistant is hit and miss. Word of advice, if you manage initially to set it work with Google youre a winner. If at a later date you add more lights and they dont appear on Google just ask assistant to resync all devices. Avoid at all cost removing hue bridge from Google home as you might never be able to add again. The issue supposed to have been fixed by Philips Google but still no joy.

Avoid getting the older Gu10 bulbs included in the Starter Pack with the Hub. They are very limited in terms of what colours they can produce. I.e. you cant get any decent blues, greens or yellows. They all just look white too white. If you can, go for the 2 Gu10 pack as they are the new bulbs are produce so much better colours. you can tell the older ones as they are longer and have more of a U shaped neck compared to the newer ones, which look like standard Gu10 bulbs.

Love these Hue bulbs, have purchased quite a few now and its nice to be able to dim and change colour temperature to set the mood. To be honest I rarely use actual colours beyond colour temperatures, but I wanted the Hue Colour bulbs for living areas because they go to 2000K whereas the ambience only go to 2200K. Got these on a Black Friday deal so they worked out cheaper than the ambience bulbs, once I sold the bridge I didnt need. One thing to watch is loose pins in the bayonet cap B22 bulb, I contacted Philips as never seen this before in regular bulbs and they said defective they replaced 4 bulbs, yes FOUR bulbs. All 3 in this kit, and 1 of the replacements as the pins were really loose. To be honest they all move fractionally, so I think this is a manufacturing variance but they confirmed all returns as defective and these ones the pins did move a lot. I note in the supplied kit the bulbs were light weight, the replacement bulbs are heavy. Assume they have found a way of making them cheaper, they all are richer colours B22 bulbs. The replacement bulbs were retail packed as extension bulbs, assume older stock probably with a nice metal heatsink.
