    Good clean white not bluish light. Grest for kitchen and utility areas where you want good light. Although labelled cool white, they are are probably around 5000k colour temperature which gives them a nice soft white coloured light.As for construction, they are all glass which hopefully lead to a long life. These replaced similar lamps but had plastic and metal construction which failed after a short period of time.
