    An excellent, cheap softbox with an eggcrate grid.Its a bit of a nuisance to fold up, so I leave it on a stand permanently, because I use it a few days a week. With the grid on, it sucks the power out of a Nikon SB910, so it cant be used at any great distance. Without the grid, it can be used in almost any position, including overhead on a boom. It has never given me any trouble. I would buy again.

    Amazing performance for a light of this price. Greatly outperforms the older SL100W tested sidebyside and is close to the much more expensive Aputure 120dII.Comes in a very nice carrying case. As you can see in the photos, the case is fabric coated, but its still rigid not like a soft bag and is well padded on the inside.Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an excellent quality, highoutput video light.Only reason for losing a star are some minor issues with the remote control and app. Read on if you feel those are important to you…Theres a strange quirk with the remote control if the colour temperature on the remote is incorrect the light is a fixed temperature and cant be changed, but the remote allows you to change the number anyway, then the dimmer will only go down to a minimum of 25. Once you set the correct temperature on the remote, it will go down to 1. Also, the remote control app is quite limited and difficult to use. You have to keep tapping or you cant press and hold so you have to tap 100 times to go all the way up or all the way down. Also, there arent any effect features lightning, etc like the more expensive lights have.Still, despite these minor issues, I would highly recommend this light and will be buying another one myself
