These are very easy to set up. The solar panel slots onto a spike that sticks into the ground. Although I have sometimes just charged these on the windowsill for indoor use. I spread these around a long flower bed and when the sun went down they lit up beautifully Actually nicer than Id expected. When unlit they are very white but when lit the glow is a soft warm colour. The onoff switch is on the solar panel and there are various modes you can choose between. They looked really lovely

They look nice on deck steps but find that they arent always shining when we need them to be..Random lights are often out

loved these lights and had them on my terrace for a few months, but soon found the only mode they would work in was fast flashing, and would not change back to constant lighting. I find flashing lights unbearable, so had to take them off the terrace. such a shame as when working they are fantastic.
