    I recently bought two of these to light an outside yard attached to a terraced house. I didnt want to have bright lighting, just enough to illuminate the area so when I came home at night, the area was lit rather than being pitch black. Id recently put a similar light up on the rear garage and was actually very surprised by how much light you could get from an LED bulbWas looking for something that would take a 1.2w LED GU10 bulb so that I could basically connect it to a duskdawn sensor and leave it to its own devices.This light fitting was perfect, allowing easy install and the ball joint allows you to direct the light to just where you need it. Although essentially a spot bulb, it easily meets my needs by scattering the light over a large area as it hits the concrete yard.My only complaint is nothing to do with the light fitting, rather the bulb itself. After fitting and power returned, when turned off, the LED bulb glows slightly Searching on Google revealed that when LED bulbs are connected to twoway switching, capacitance in the cables can generate sufficient power to light the bulb slightly even when turned off. Other articles suggested that should I install the second fitting, this issue will probably disappear and is not dangerous in any way.Overall, a well made fitting, easy to install, with full angle adjustability. Highly recommended.

    Bought a year ago and still bright so purchased another 5 this year to go light a long path. In the dark they are dim light but one by one shine brightly as you walk by.

    These lights are excellent dont be put off by negative reviews charge before use, site in a sunny position, not a lot of sun this time but mine all charge and light up each evening.They are not a warm light as suggested in one of the reviews, they are cool white nice and bright just what you need to light up dark areas of the garden.

    There was an initial mixup as we only received one light to start with,but this was corrected and the other three arrived very quicklyThey are being used to light the driveway and are very effective

    My review would be much better if all the four units had worked but one just will not work. I did think the battery was flat but after 6 hours in direct sunlight it still wont work. I dont want to go to the trouble of returning all four units as 3 work fine. One to replace the faulty unit would be great but how do you report that only one out of four is faulty. Almost Impossible. A reaction would be great. No response to my comments so I have returned all four units for credit. I do like them so I may reorder.
