    I have these with the motion sensor and the motion sensor is a little bit sporadic in its use.the biggest problem with these however is that there are two thats needed and the holes where you drill are on the side of the template which means that with two lights the position becomes lump sided which means more drilling. Otherwise the product is satisfactory.

    Initially bought 3 of these lanterns for front of house ,they took me about an hour each to put up . I am extremely happy with the result , 2 of them went in porch attached to masonry and one outside and above porch attached to wood .Pleased with myself ordered 2 more for back of house on pebble dashed walls ,happy with these as well . Now awaiting delivery of 2 lantern posts for patio at bottom of garden . Good solid lights ,well designed . A few minor points , the screws and plugs supplied not great so I used my own . The fixing plate screws supplied were short and would have liked a bit longer maybe 5 mm which would have made fixing over pebble dashed walls easier , minor quibbles I know .final point the glass lanterns have an hole at bottom drilled in , one of these had a small crack from this hole , not noticeable when up . Regen Bos rang me to ask if I was happy with these lights and offered to exchange the damaged glass ,I declined as it was so minor .Overall a great buy

    This was easy to fit and it looks good. I cannot comment on its performance yet. The only gripe I have is that the unit is not as white as it appears in the pictures. Its more an offwhite and, next to white upvc doors, facias etc. it looks cream. So, if you have chosen the white model to match your white door etc. like I did you may be a little disappointed you may be better to go for a contrast by opting for the black or anthracite version.

    This proved to be an excellent choice to light our exterior porch , throwing light both up and down for a much more interesting result than the old fashioned porch lights. It looks good too.
