    Over a period of time, I have gradually been replacing most of the bulbs in our home with Philips hue. I have always found their system to flawless in function and extremely easy to expand. I have also introduced some smart switchs and motion controller they all just workThis recent addition for the garden is no exception, its sleek in design, simple to install assuming you have power available and adds a unique feature and night time splash of colour to the garden. Due to to up down radiating beams, Im not really sure they would be great for illuminating a path unless you invested in several, as the light is quite directed and not especially bright over a large area. But to create a bit of feature and atmosphere when sitting out on a warm summer evening theyre perfect. Ideally I would like another couple to dot around, but they are pretty pricey.As with all hue products, once linked to the excellent partner app, setting routines creating Alexa voice controls is very simple. I have mine automatically turn on at sunset, and turn off via Alexa when I turn off all the other lights. Highly recommended, but at a price.
