Inexpensive and impressive

These are inexpensive and they do work, producing a very reasonable amount of light. However, I did find they took a few days to achieve maximum brilliance presumably the batteries took this long to charge fully.Be aware they are not the solution to all outdoor lighting needs. Specifically, the manufacturers advise that for multiple installations the units need to be at least 2m apart. The reason for this is fairly obvious if a unit is illuminated by a neighbouring one it will respond as if it is in sunshine and turn itself off. So, they would be suitable for lighting, for example, a fence alongside a path. However, a more tightly arranged set to illuminate, say, a seating area possibly would not produce a satisfactory result.I have only had these for a week or so, and two things I await with interest. Firstly, how long they will last. Secondly, how waterproof they are. If rainwater gets into the casing or condensation forms that will be annoying.
