these are brilliant just like everybody on the reviews are saying. only problem i have is the price keep going up and down. im wanting to buy some more but because of this im not. please stop changing prices as it is only reason i will not buy more. brilliant sellers and excellent lights.

As you can imagine these are not a cheap product to buy. However, i ordered 4 packs 2 lights in each pack and one was faulty so i returned it end of last month and still have not heard anything back. I am very dissapointed as i needed 8 in total for the exact location but only 7 are being used All i wanted was a replacement so that i could put the last one up in the gap that is clearly showing at night, which looks very odd As they are expensive i would have thought they would be checked before arriving.

These solarpowered, LED lights consist of a 21 foot string of thirty globes. Each one measures around 23mm diameter and is made from a transparent plastic resin material, internallyilluminated by a single warmwhite LED sealed inside it. The inclusion of hundreds of tiny air bubbles, produced in the manufacturing process, makes each one translucent and causes the light from the LED to diffuse and illuminate each globe more uniformly. The globes are spaced approximately 140mm apart and are connected together using thin greencoloured, dualcore cable. This tends to make the cable less noticeable when these lights are placed onto bushes or trees with green foliage.Power is obtained from a small, selfcontained, water resistant, plastic control unit which contains the solar panel and rechargeable battery used to charge and operate these lights.This string light is fully automatic, so as dusk approaches the LED globes are turned on. Theyll remain on until either Theres insufficient energy remaining in the internal battery at which point the globes switch off, or… The increasing light level, with the onset of dawn, cause the globes to switch off.When theres sufficient sunlight, a small solar panel produces energy to recharge the internal battery ready for the cycle to begin again the following night. Two waterproof push button switches, located on the underside of the control unit, are used to turn the lights on or off and allow the LED globes to operate in a preprogrammed lighting sequence, consisting of eight individual modes wave, strobe flashing and fading etc..Repeatedly pressing the mode button, whilst the lights are operating, will stop the sequencing on a particular mode one of which includes all globes permanently glowing. When the power is interrupted by pressing the onoff button or through the daily, automaticcharging cycle will cause the light string to start to operate in the eightmode sequence by default as each of the individual modes available arent memorised. This light string wouldnt be suitable if you wanted all the globes to remain on or just wanted one particular individual lighting sequence without having to set it each night manually A plastic ground stake is provided onto which the control unit is mounted. Its important to place the solar panel in a position which provides the optimum amount of daily sunshine to allow the battery to fully recharge and should, ideally, face south. Ive operated similar types of solarpowered string lights throughout the previous year and found theyll still work, well into the night, even during the winter months. Rain, snow and fog can affect the ability of the solar panel to produce sufficient energy to recharge the battery, so expect a shorter operating time during these types of weather conditions.These lights are simple to install, are maintenancefree and look great wrapped around bushes, borders, trees, walls or fences etc. The lowbrightness, relaxing warm glow also makes this string light especially suitable for mood lighting applications and could be used to enhance the existing lighting in, or around patios, conservatories or summerhouses.Disclosure A complimentary sample was provided by the supplier for testing.
