What makes these great is that the wire is extremely thin indeed, so it doesnt block light from the LEDs. Therefore you can put them in a small vase, for example, or wrap them around twigs yet barely see the cable in daytime. In addition, the wire will bind things such as twigs together.They are battery powered which has the usual advantages and disadvantages. If you want to use them near a mains power supply, but a mains or USB version.The LEDs are cool to the touch.100 LEDs is very little. It is fine for something physically small. But the lights are superb.

A white plastic bulb, that doesnt look the best on arrival, but once they are lit they look good. Very bright, at first stayed on all night, even to 6am in the morning. Sadly only last 4 months. Would buy again, at the 10 price, wouldnt pay more due to life span. Otherwise excellent lights, lots of different modes, if your happy to accept the life span for the price, then they are worth the buy.
