Description
NERVA is a grand six-light pendant in the Hollywood Regency style, typified by the glamorous homes of actors during Hollywood’s Golden Era from the 1920s through to the 1950s. A polished nickel finish contrasts with crystal bobeches. A bobeche is a collar originally intended to catch the drips of wax on a candlestick; here they add a touch of authenticity to our contemporary design. Supplied with two sets of candle drips to allow use with or without shades.

This is a very nice decorative light for a gaming area, especially if you own a Playstation. Its easy to use and looks great especially in a darkened area but it is very much a decoration dont expect this to illuminate a whole room. Ive had it for a month or so now and on the whole Im very happy with it, but there are a couple of things I take issue with…Firstly, you will need a USB plug to power it as it is advised not to connect it directly to the mains if your socket also supports USB, but you dont get one in the box. I had a spare one from an old phone, but considering the price I paid the sale price of around 20 I think one should have been included. I did initially try plugging it in to my PS4 Pro, but with an external HDD and a headset receiver already connected it caused one of the lights to flicker as the console couldnt provide enough power to the light.Secondly and this is what dropped it to a 4 star, there is the small matter of the musicreactive mode. Advertised as a special feature, in reality it is nothing more than a brief, preprogrammed sequence on repeat that flashes even in dead silence. I didnt expect it to actually work, and it doesnt or at least as described but its bad faith on the manufacturers part to blatantly make such a false claim. If your main reason for buying was this mode, dont.
