    The light fitting is great, however, it only operates at 10 lux or below. I purchased it for a bathroom,but it will only come on if the lux is below 10 i.e. dark. So not suitable for my use unfortunately.Otherwise, the fitting is ok, it is simple to install. the cable to connect the shadepir to the main fitting was a bit awkward to clip together, as the wire is short. I was worried that the lumens might be too low, but it gives ample light.There are no settings to adjust the lux level or the time.

    Weve had 2 of these since 2013, used every day plus a 2lamp version. Theyre excellent. The LED bulbs show no sign of ageing. The units still look brand news.. Theyre bright and flexible because each bulb unit can be pointed pretty much anywhere.I recently bought another on Radiant Roost because I couldnt find anything else that was as good. These are well made and classy compared to most cheaper similar units.They are easy to fit but for one thing. There is not much room inside the body, and the centre is fully occupied with electronics. This means that you need to mount the unit with the mains feed at one end. The middle is a nono. So if you are replacing an existing lamp with a central feed wire, that may be a problem.
