Surprised at the amount of light. Installed in a pantry on the wall. Detects movement once the door is open with no problems, no need to wave or flap arms

Great Seller. Would use again. Thanks, Ron

Works great we put it in a dark, hall coat closet. The motion sensor works really well every time and were happy to be able to see. Its not EXTREMELY bright if thats what youre looking for, but its adequate.

We originally like the Mr. Beams lights the round ones and the smaller square ones, and used them for 3 years, but the new LED motion lights from other companies are much brighter, less heavy, mount better, and use less battery. These are now just ok.

I put one each of these in two bedroom closets and one hall closet. They are bright enough for these and work well. Note that the closets need to be dark enough for the motion sensor to turn the light on, so works best at night when the room is dimly lit. Velcro tape works well to attach to ceiling of closets.

I like the amount of light. It was easy to mount. The challenge is that it is sensitive. It is located in my sun room so it turns on when walking by from a distance of 68 feet. It is not a big deal but just be aware that the mechanism does pickup movement from a distance away.

Ive installed these for about 30 days. I have one in 3 closets, and one in the attic above the pull down attic steps. Before I had to use a flashlight, and that was a PAIN. These units use 4 C size batteries, and I am thinking that they should last a while with LED bulbs. They function fine, and each location does NOT have an ambient light problem. These lights are very bright and the pool of light is MORE than adequate for the space that needs to be illuminated. I know some reviewers had problems, mainly they seem to stop working after a while. We will see … as time goes on, I will update as needed. For now, I am very happy with these units.UPDATE 020214 About a month ago, 2 of the 4 lights I installed, went bad. The same problem that everyone else complained about, 2 the most used lights simply stayed on for about a day and a half until the batteries died. I really liked these, but they seem to have a year lifetime on them. The 2 that are used rarely are still working fine Attic and seldom used closet. Since these were a bit expensive, I am going to replace them with much cheaper motion led lights. Buying expensive ones did nothing but cost more for junk. I brought the 5 stars down to 2 stars, as these appear to be disposable lights WITH ABOUT 1 YEAR OF USE ON THEM.UPDATE 071715 After getting the comment from the company, I emailed them and received a reply that as the batteries ran down, the light would function erratically. Since when the lights stayed on, it still appeared very bright, I assumed the unit was acting up and not batteries.. Luckily, I did NOT throw out the lights. I put new batteries in both bad units, and they started to work as normal. I will update again after a few months to see if they stay fixed.

Ive had one of these in use for a couple of years with great results. I have it in a closet that I use multiple times daily and it works well enough that I mostly dont think about it.Only downside is that it doesnt really get as bright as a wired light can, but it is nice that you can position it so it is close to where you want light most which helps to overcome this issue.A set of 4 C batteries averages me about eight months which seems quite reasonable for my use. I used two sided adhesive to attach it to the ceiling. With the batteries in the unit is heavy enough that it has come loose a couple of times but it is easy enough to replace the adhesive and put it back up.Overall if I had a place I needed light where adding an electric light wasnt convenient I would definitely buy this again.

Usually it does not turn on, i have to place my finger over the sensor which sometimes activates it, other times that doesnt even work.
