    Ive never yet fitted a light that only had 1x cable coming from the ceiling, so you need some space to hold all the cables and connectors. The design and available space on this make it really hard to deal with. For starters, the fixing bracket runs through the centre where the cables are coming out of the ceiling, I think whoever designed this never actually fitted it in the real world.

    Makes a big difference than having a standard white fixing…gives the overall finish with the light shade stand out more.

    I have used quite a lot of these Mr Beams lights including some that are networked to each other. This is the basic cheap version and will suit most people rather well. They are very simple to fit, the batteries last for a year in most conditions and they give out a surprising amount of light. There are many different models so spend a bit of time looking at the features to see what suits your situation best. I really rate them.
