    Let me introduce myself. I am an Astrophysicist with a substantial background in computer science. Therefore, I have the technical knowledge to support my review.The basics Is the light good Yes. The intensity of this light is well adjusted for sensors found in 100 dollars ish webcams. Is it overpriced as different reviews complain Yes, but not for the reason they assert.People that analyze the specs of the light conclude that ElGato is overpriced. However, these criticisms miss the pricing of engineering a product that ALWAYS works out of the box. This is the heart of the nonsense dispute between OSX and Linux fans. Linux laptops are incredible in their specs. However, when presenting my work in Universities with diverse hardware setups, I need to focus on Physics not computer science. No connectivity issues, driver incompatibility…It has to work, always, in any circumstances, to justify the price tag.With Elgato, the story should have been similar. Elgato has this sale pitch. Connect the light into your wifi, download a simple program, and have total control of intensity and temperature of the light the apple magic kind of promise. I respect that, and I was willing to pay the pricetag.The problem that this plugandplay philosophy does not work with Elgato. The wifi receiver has connectivity issues with modern routers. In more than a month, I was able to connect ElGato for just 5 minutes And I tried with two different routers. I remember frantically attempting to adjust the light intensitycolor with the wellfounded fear that the system would disconnect. It took me hours to try to debug the issue and to discover that this is a known and widespread problem.Given that, the pricetag seems just a ripoff that goes into the pocket of greedy stakeholders.     Dans lair du Full LED, ce type de bandeaux avec des min Leds sintgrera plus dans un bureau pour donner une ambiance et non en apparent car mon avis les Leds en forme de pointills sont un peu dats. Mis part cet aspect visuel la conception est de trs bonne qualit et le rendu visuel des couleurs est du plus bel effet.Le ruban est trs souple et sintgre bien au pont hue et lapplication Philips, mais personnellement jutilise Alexa et un dtecteur de mouvement pour clairer mon meuble TV avec ce Ruban.Aussi il y a la possibilit de coller le ruban larrire dune TV la manire dun Ambilight et de lassocier au Philips Hue Play Hdmi Sync Box qui est assez onreux je dois lavouer, mais le rsultat est convainquant En conclusion, je trouve que le mettre en apparent est assez moyen en raison de la discontinuit des Leds, mais lutiliser en cach pour donner uniquement lclairage donne le mme rsultat quun bandeau continu full Led. Je trouve aussi le prix assez lev et tout acheteur aguerri attendra la bonne promotion pour en profiter les yeux ferms
