We bought 4 of these wall lights for a fairly large sitting room. They are perfect. Look really neat, you cant see the bulbs and the light from each is just right so we can have them in in any combination and the result is always lovely. Highly recommended

I was looking for wall lights for our bedroom instead of bedside lamps. I really liked the look of these as they are not too busy and look simple and discreet. Also our electrician suggested lights with integrated switch so these looked perfect. I bought the halogen bulbs as recommended by one reviewer and they look wonderful. I was slightly worried about previous comment that they shatter easily if not careful, and was really worried when my builder phoned to say that they broke one by accident Thinking I would have to buy a whole new light, I searched the internet and thankfully the shade is available to buy separately and it cost 12 not available in John Lewis though. All over very pleased with the modern sleek look.

These are stylish wall lights, not the easiest to fit, particularly if youre replacing wall lights which had a bigger footprint as the mounting screws are quite close together. A good buy nonetheless, look good and nice lighting effect ideal in bedrooms.

We are very pleased with the design and value of this little light. We have ordered 2 more, one being a replacement for one with a broken switch arrived broken it seems to me that this is likely to happen as the switches are very long and narrow, may be better shorter and thicker, John Lewis please note. Lovely design just needs a tweak on the switch .

This fitting gives out an attractive light pattern with halogen bulbs, slightly less so with LED bulbs because they stand out further from the back of the fitting into the shade. Installing it poses no great problems although the small socket screw which prevents the shade from shifting requires fairly nimble fingers and would be easier to locate in the threaded hole in the fitting if the end was tapered. Overall, attractive and good value at the price.
