    A great light at a reasonable price made of sturdy materials. It was so straightforward to assemble with clear instructions. I had read of others who had found it difficult and I guess there are always some who will be daunted by any selfassembly items. However, the instructions couldnt have been simpler. I am a female pensioner and assembled the light in a few minutes. The plastic lampshades which look like a kind of white glass are of a high quality and, whilst they are not glass they are fine for a budget buy.But… DO NOT buy the recommended light bulbs with it as the instructions on the light call for LED bulbs which wont overheat. Other bulbs may be a fire risk. This is why I have to give this order 3 stars and not 5.PLEASE NOTE The light instructions call for 1 BAYONET LED bulb up to 6.3 watt with a flat head like the inset ceiling lights in modern kitchens for the smaller reading lamp as shown in the photoFor the uplighter you need a 1 SCREW LED bulb not exceeding 13 watt.I had already ordered the bulk buy of stand plus recommended bulbs so entered the twilight zone of hassle in reporting the mismatch and applying for return labels to the individual suppliers. Radiant Roost customer service were prompt and efficient but nothing spares you the timeconsuming hassle of back and forth with emails to suppliers establishing your reasons plus repackaging the wrong bulbs. I hope they remove the incorrect recommendation on the ad. It is a shame as we really like the light and look forward to using it with the right bulbs.
