Used for uplighting on top of builtin shelving in my kids bedroom. Worked a treat straight out of the box. My kid loves them. The Dimmer is great feature. Only installed 5 days ago, so cant speak for the longevity of the product. Im considering getting another one so I can extend this one. 5m was a bit shorter than I thought I needed.To all the people who gave this product one starYes, you can cut them but you still need to join them again with either a connector or solder some 4core wire between the two ends electricity cant jump through the air to an unconnected led stripAlso, I have used Robus white LED light strips before as uplighting and they are delicate do be gentle with the strip when uncoiling and installing.Finally, as with any adhesive, the surface needs to be clean and dry, otherwise its just not going to stick.Great product if you dont mind a little DIY and taking time on the installation.
