I wanted to review this product in response to the negative review, mainly complaining about the finish. Galvanised steel is the material rust proof watering cans are made from and the finish of these lamps is like the watering cans. However, all of the shiny, beautiful looking, cheaper lights which are painted or shiny or powdery in finish will either go rusty, or get a white powdery covering over time and look horrible. This products appearance will not change. Most other outdoor lights also have plastic shades which discolour over time so reducing the emission of light. This has a glass shade This is a stylish lamp, with a glass shade, which will not discolour. The light is bright. It will not rust. Its appearance and light emission will not deteriorate over time. It is guaranteed for 15 years. In coastal regions, no other material but galvanised steel will last.

Good quality light with solid construction and straight forward fitting. When illuminated all the light goes from horizontal downwards, so its subtle and keeps light pollution to a minimum.

Needed a couple of outdoor lights as we have two rabbits so often in and out in the evenings so lights were required as we have entered winter. These lights do the job perfectly Eady to install look good and give off plenty of light.

Looks good. Very pleased with it. Dont be tempted to put a pearl bulb in it, needs a clear one otherwise it spoils the looks during daylight hours.

Well made product, easy to install and well made. Only issue was some bent fins on one side, but I put these towards the wall so they cant be seen. Uses standard led bulb and is easy to change or adjust brightness if needed. Ps. Colin is the dog.

Very happy with purchase. Seems decent quality, aesthetically looks great in the garden to complement set of existing galvanised post lighting. Bright so Id recommend no more than 5W bulb for background lighting unless you want to make a focal point 10w or security requirement possibly 15W. Delivery on time. Installation simple if you know how to add a spur off existing wiring. Installing on anything other than a shed will need some masonry work to get wiring through the wall. Cant comment yet on how the product fairs in bad weather only been installed a week.

This is easy to install with some simple and sensible electrical knowledge if in doubt, seek advice from a qualified electrician and is a quality product. Ive had some of these up for years and they weather well. The light distribution is great output depends on the lamp you use and I have LED smart bulbs in mine. Recommended.
