    Had this wall light for 2 months now and all is well. Well made, modern, good sensor though it took a few goes at the settings screw. I did spray the back of the panel with spray grease as I live near to the coast and metal tends to rustcorrode with the sea air. Had the lantern type before but had to replace 2 because of corrosion, hoping that this one does the trick. My path is 5 metres long but feel that the sensor would pick up further. Overall Im very pleased with the product.

    Unit itself is easy to install, looks nice and modern but mine is far too sensitive to passing traffic. Ive got the setting on the lowest and still comes on with traffic or people passing the house twenty foot away.

    Although plastic this is very robust and good quality. It is probably quite expensive for what it is but looks good. It gives off a nice light and PIR seems to pick up at quite a distance so am delighted.

    I live a mile from the North cornish coast on top of a hill. Have tried several outdoor lights in the past and most last less than a year. Ive had 2 of these now for 2 years and they look the same as when I bought them. Great product for coastal houses where everything rusts.

    Giving this 4 stars even though the shortcomings may be unique to my situation.I have the light mounted on a exterior porch ceiling which isnt what Philips intended with this light, however I feel that even mounted vertically, there are only two screws to go into the wall, this leads to some light leakege.Other than that. Its great. Ive put a hue colour bulb in an paired it with a motion sensor to come on automatically when I walk towards the front door, also good for Halloween.

    Painted cast metal housing with thick translucent plastic lens, theyre a good quality light fitting. Its disappointing to find they are supplied with a 15 Watt CFL bulb today rather than LED particularly given the quotes about energy saving. The bulb illuminates the bottom of the lens significantly more than the top, making them look cheap.The Philips Classic LED 17 Watt 150 Watt equivalent although an oversize 67 mm bulb, fits nicely and provides more consistent lighting in the lens. This is pretty bright though. The Philips Classic LED 10.5 Watt 100 Watt equivalent is a good compromise brighter than the CFL, lower wattage and consistent lens illumination.
