I use a floor halogen lamp facing my mirror to put on my makeup on as I have to have a light shining in the mirror, few days ago it broke so I was looking for an alternative saw this and thought what a great idea in the meantime I borrowed one of the kids desklamps and hung it on the floor lamp so I could see to put my face on , anyhow this clip lamp is just ideal, added a 60 watt bulb and clipped it to my old lamp and perfect, gives enough light so I can see what im doing…will use it until I find another floor lamp I like and no doubt it will come in handy in other areas of the house .

I like the extended version which I am now using as a front light during zoom meetings after dark and the short form that allows me to change the angle of the light source and the height for photographing small objects in my light tent.
