We love this floor lamp so much I was a bit reluctant to order due to the cost. But so glad I did. It is stunning in its design. Beautiful wood which is curved and wonderful to touch. Trust me, you will want to feel it. When you open the box, packaged well, you can smell the wood. Very easy to put together. Looking forward to ordering more items from the JL Tom Raffield range.

The light is beautiful but I did have issues assembling it that I think absolutely should have not passed quality control. Also the lamp itself is absolutely too short.

The Skipper Floor Light is absolutely beautiful. Visually it stands out in any room, even when unlit. However, once evening comes and you switch it on, it creates a lovely, warm atmosphere, casting shadows which serve to highlight the curves of the shade even further. I purchased this for my clinic, and every one who visits comments on it. I pondered for ages before buying, due to the cost being considerably more than I would usually spend on a lamp. However, the Skipper Floor Light is more than a lamp, beautifully designed and crafted, finished to a high standard adding a WOW presence in any room. So if you too are pondering, go for it, you wont regret it.
