I expected them to have a clear plastic diffuser layer over the top like every other set I have bought previously, but the LEDs and circuitry are exposed. This means if youre placing the strips close to a wall youre going to see bright spots where each LED is and not an even glow along the strip. Im sure if they were further away this wouldnt be so obvious.The mounting clips it comes with are great and the remote has plenty of options though.Overall Im pleased with the result for the price even if they do feel more thin and flimsy thank other sets I have.

Very smart if you loose the remote theres a panel to click that you can use. I wish I bought this for the other bedrooms
