The lights are very bright on the highest setting and I like that you can adjust the brightness. I use them to add light to photos as well as aid in makeup application vs buying whole mirrors with lights and they do a great job of that. I havent found them to be hot yet, but I have only had them on for at most 2 hours.

Purchased this light strip for my daughters bedroom. It generates a really strong vibrant colour, with the option to dim and change the colours. Had a slight issue with the initial order, as the light stopped working after a couple of hours. But the Govee team were understanding and quickly dispatched a replacement. Will definitely buy more of these, for other rooms in the house.
