It is generously proportioned for an in-door wall light at 33cm high with a diameter of 9cm on the fixing plate. It is only 17cm in depth so fits neatly to the wall.     Works really well, but sometimes control buttons need to be pressed harder for it to work properly, need to be careful while sticking it to the walls or furniture as if one part wont be stuck on properly the connection will be lost. Did it no my bed and one part wasnt stuck on so only half of the strip worked, I needed to press it harder on that it would connect the full strip
