I do wish my wife would stop buying lights .. but she loves them .. and I must admit they brighten up the house and garden.I really do like these though as they look like little bees .. everyone who has seen them absolutely loves them.Simple to use, they charge up via the solar panel .. stick the spike in the ground and then switch them on.Theres several different modes .. flashing, static and some others too.Nice quality too

The first thing I noticed on opening the box is that the packing is very robust and protective. It needs to be. The lights are very delicate. I tested them first before unpacking them all and was slightly alarmed by the amount of heat that they gave off Is this normalIm so disappointed that I have just put them up and already 5 bulbs have blown. Could they be faulty The heat and that many bulbs going already

I bought two of these to go around a hot tub area and initially very happy with how it looked. They put together really quickly and obviously, and looked well. However in first week two bulbs failed, which i wasnt too bothered about as they give you 6 or maybe 8 spares. Then though, over the last 3 weeks 8 more have failed. Thats a failure rate of more than 15 in only 5 weeks for a product which otherwise is so nice. Ill buy replacements for these ones but its a shame as i would have bought 78 more sets to go around the whole garden but as that suggests Id need 30odd new bulbs a month, Ill look for something else.
