I love the light, has a couple settings, one on steady, two, each one comes on then goes off slowly while the next one turns on. It also has one where it goes to sound, but I think its just random lol. However for the price its a great piece.

I have two of these clamped to either side of my 6foot desk to light me during video conferences and presentations over zoom, and they work really well. At night, I generally use them at around 1020 power. During the day, I have bright sunlight coming in through softboxlike translucent shades on one side of my office. I turn the key light off on the window side, and crank up the one on the other side to 5080 to balance out the sun and light my face evenly.I present with the key lights about 2.5 feet in front of me and agreen screen about 4 feet behind me, and the keylights are almost good enough to light the green screen. I still use a cheap pair of Neweer Dimmable 5600K USB LED Video Light with Adjustable Tripod to light the lower left and right corners of the green screen, but mostly because I already owned them. If I didnt have these, Id probably either crop the sides of the video or rely on the doublechromekey trick use chroma key to place yourself in front of a synthetic solid green background, and then use chroma key again to clean up my corners.Another thing that I really like about these lights is that they dont take up a lot of desk space, because they clamp next to the desk. I have only 2 of overhang on the sides of my desk, but this was enough to clamp the light because you can pull the handle down and rotate it without tightening or loosening the clamp.Yet another benefit is the ability to adjust the warmth of the color. This is useful to match yourself to the light in whatever virtual background you may be using, as well as to match other sources of light like the sun coming through your windows.Im a linux user, and was worried that it might be difficult to get these lights working without Windows or Mac OS. However, you can fully control the lights from the Elgato android app though it was a little hard to find the right app to download, since Elgato has severalyou want the Control Center app. That said, I also have homeassistant, and homeassistant supported these lights out of the box, discovering them automatically as soon as they were on the WiFi network. There appear to be other smaller tools I was planning to explore, such as pyleglight and keylightctl, but I never needed to because of homeassistant. I also like that the WiFi controls are instant unlike most of my lights, which use Zwave.Be aware that for optimal results, you still need a hair light. Even after a pair of these Elgato key lights sets you back 400, you wont be done with your lighting needs. The hair light needs to be above and behind you so as to make your hair and shoulders pop without casting light on your face. If money is no object, you could get a third key light and mount it above you. However, I was getting reasonable results using a 13 Simple Deluxe HIWKLTCLAMPLIGHTS Clamp Lamp httpswww.Radiant Roost.comSimpleDeluxeAluminumReflectorIncludeddpB01M0R9F71 with a 100Wequivalent LED bulb, which I turned on and off using a NEO ZWave Plus power plug again, because Im already running homeassistant with a Zwave setup.As a final note, definitely get the key light rather than they key light air. I initially got the air and regretted it, so had to buy two key lights anyway. Now Ive recycled my air as a hair light, replacing the cheap clamp lamp, but I still regret having an air above me rather than the regular key light, which I think would look better because it is wider and brighter. The air isnt appreciably better than my simple clamp lamp and not even as bright, though Its nice being able to dim it and use the WiFi controls.
