    I got this for a very dark closet that doesnt have access to electricity. I used industrial velcro strips to attach it to the ceiling so I can just peel it off to change the batteries. Its much brighter than i expected, but turns on when the door opens and turns off a few minutes after the door closes.

    This provides great amount of light in my closet. The only thing that freaks me out is that it comes on at night sometimes. I am not sure what is triggering it but it is a little scary when it happens. Overall great purchase.

    We bought an old house with not a lot of outlets and I needed something for my huge, dark closet. These are really a great thing to have, the first night they sat on the dining room table and it was really nice to have something light up when going to the restroom, I could actually see where I was going. They come right on when noticing movement, and stay on just long enough to get around in the dark. I am going to buy some for the stairway, these are just a great product.

    Bought one of these, so impressed bought 2 more the next week. Responsive, pleasant not blinding light, easily installed. I put one over a gate and the other two under a porch and am surprised at how much fumbling for switches or looking for flashlights I no longer have to do, and it saves time unloading the car at night. I considered the larger Mr Beams lamps, but these work perfectly and seem somehow more comfortable than largerbrighter lights would have been. Mounted at about 9 height, they cast a slightly oblong illumination field of about 6 12 feet radius, not quite bright enough to comfortably read by but more than bright enough to navigate by. 15pound cat doesnt set them off, 40pound dog does. The only bad news is that they make it hard to sneak out of the house at night. Not for me, of course for the dog.

    Would recommend and buy further units. Light comes on…..light goes off Thats it. Perfect. If only I could get the kids to do the same with standard lights
