I love these just dont worry about the mastery y cable. I have yet to figure out what it is for. It does not work as a splitter and I read somewhere that it is to complete the loop and add power to a four light setupnope I added these to an LS100 starter to light up the desk while the starter kit lights my monitor. Love it. I did not use the magnets to install, just take the magnets off the lights and use two sided 3m exterior grade 2 sided tape and go for it.
