Good detail lights for close range, not very effective past 2 meters unless the room is very dim. Can be useful even for professionals just to cast faint a color fill. I guess most people are getting these to improve their COVID webcam setup, for that I think this is deal is hard to beat.Just dont plug these into your computer, the current drain can exceed 250mAh which is the limit for USB2.0 specification, dont risk your expensive stuff just for that and use a generic wall charger instead.

Not the best quality and not the most robust build but I have three of these strategically placed around the house for when ceiling light blows. Also useful if the fuse in the lighting circuit blows as ring mains and lighting circuits are separate. Any complaints about long term use are irrelevant as the price should indicate it is for short usage and obviously any long term or prolonged usage would mean you should spend more money

Overall I was excited, sad I know, when the product arrived. Its well made and made mainly out of metal support with a sleek curved frame. Easy to put together and offer a clean diffused light.The low rating is that first of all in my opinion an app is completely unnecessary lighting like Philips Hue you can see why you want want an app but just to control 2 setting I would have thought a simple control on the actual light would suffice after all chances are your using at home one setting suits all.Ill take the feedback though that I knew this before I bought it, but in any case I could couldnt to the app, it requires the 2.4 band from my router and being dual band I cant connect to it Ive had this before and have found a workaround normally means taking a walk down the road lol but the issue is if I lost connectivity its glitchy at best having been unable to connect to the app its a n o from me and needs tweaking.
