Been realistic for under 20 pounds including delivery, you cant moan at all. Shades are plastic, stand is metal. It does what it says on the box. Ikea did sell them for 12 pounds, but not any more. Personally I would have paid the extra 8 pounds including delivery to avoid the two hour round trip to the shop If you want flashier goods then go and pay more. Looking at some reviews here. Champagne taste but shandy pockets springs to mind

Had owned this previously and saved me having to go to an ikea store. Nice low lighting using to feed baby in the night so I can see but baby stays asleep as not too bright
