just bought these, and I can honestly say I will never go back to traditional lighting again. lights are easy on eyes, and just amazing product for streamers and content creators.

UpdatedThis light is good, well packaged and operates manually well. However, the remote control worked when I took it out of the box I had to install 2x AAA batteries not supplied for the remote I could switch the light on and off and change the brightness, but since installing the light under a canopy, with the solar panel on a fence post, the remote will not work, even if I go to within 3ft of either the front or the back of the panel.UpdateJust found out that the remote sensor is in the light bulb and the remote does work ok but you appear to have to be within about 5 or 6 feet of the bulb for it to work

I got this product as a goodwill as I was unhappy with a different product sold by the same seller. The customer service was simply excellent. But this wee thing…. OMG As a selfie addict always looking for perfect lighting, this is he best thing since sliced bread Love it

Really good, highly recommend. Gave my drab, boring and overall rubbish room some real character.

Deshalb zwei Sterne Abzug.

Philips Hue is really the iPhone of the electronically controlled lights world. I have a couple of Osram lights, which are fine, but lack the refinement, and four Ikea lights, one of which ceased to be controllable after about a year. Ive had to reset the Ikea lights four times so far. Ive also tried some offbrand lights. But Ive kept on coming back to Hue since I got my first pair from the Apple shop in Solihull back in 2013. Apart from one light that got broken, all fo my Hue lights are still responding and still working just as well as the day I got them. This striplight is the last of the Hue lights Ive tried. I always assumed it was a bit of a gimmick, as Ive seen these kinds of lights providing underwhelming lighting in all kinds of contexts. But these are surprisingly powerful, although the colour purity is not quite as exact as the other typesyou get a very faint triple shadow nearby. These are more than bright enough to be the sole lighting in a room. In fact, in many rooms, at full strength, they will be too strong. This opens up many possibilities for video lighting because, as expensive as Hue is, it isnt a patch on colouradjustable commercial video lights. Four sets of these on the top, bottom and sides of a Green Screen is probably going to give more even lighting than anything else, without big column lights, and without the same level of expense.
