Would be 5 stars but the software is the major let down. The build quality is to a high standard and motion detection is great. However, the software is the let down, and the most flaustrating problem about it is that all this can be resolved by a simple update. I would not recomend using this in a room where motion will be dectected constantly sitting rooms etc and will be better suited for a hall way or landing where motion is only temporary.

At first there was delight, then approximately 4 hours in the lights went off and would not switch back on. Luckily a neighbour had the same lights so was able to borrow bits and bobs to prove what had gone wrong. In my case the power cable had stopped working… Not wanting to strip everything out, I approached Govee to see if they sold replacement power leads only. After letting them know what had happened and what I was after, they said they would replace the item complete box at no charge. Within days it was on my doorstep and powerlead fitted. Cant rate them high enough, the lights enhance the TV picture 10 fold. Big thumbs up from me, well done Govee.
