    I eventually gave up and bought a different makestyle of G10 bulb as the two sets of placement tools dont work with this as it has a flat surface and they require a domed one to work.I cant comment on how well they work, I never managed to insert them

    i got these to replace the 4 50w halogen spots in the kitchen, well i moved in here june 2017 i thought they were leds until 23 weeks ago when 1 blew, then i realised they were halogen not led, i cant vouch for longivity yet as i only had them in 2 weeks or energy efficiency yet, but i can tell you that they are just as bright as the 50w halogen bulbs i had in there before hopefully these will last longer than 2 half years or so ..

    Having used LEDs for many years, Id given up on assuming they came in any other colour that extreme white. My kitchen, bathrooms, hallways etc always look like theyre flood lit which in the bathroom is particularly unpleasant at 3am when you pull the light cord. However, these bulbs have the effect of the old 60w round screwbayonet bulbs which is much more comforting around the home. Will replace with these bulbs from now on.

    The 6pack was great. Nice warm light, slightly brighter than the halogen equivalent and more even less harsh and sparkly.The 2pack, on the other hand, contained one bulb whiter than the other and both seemed to be rather shoddily put together although original Philips product, as far as I could tell. Tempted to return, but stupidly threw the packaging immediately. May just keep them out of interest to see whether their lifespan is affected, since those two arent for anywhere aesthetically important. Will update if they fail.

    Got these in the cool white but I would say they are more a warm white. Look like the yellowy you get with old type bulbs or older car headlights. Pretty bright but not as bright as I wanted but still an improvement in the old ones we had.
