    Ok but drops its charge very quickly. We have them for round the awning of our caravan. Go dim then intermittently flash after about 3 hours

    Sent off for these in August last year and wrapped them round tree trunks on the edge of the patio where they glowed a bright, silvery white. About the size of a cherry tomato, strung on a black cable and quite a long bit of flex between the small solar panel theres no problem in putting them up. Couldnt be simpler. The solar panel can be staked or hung in the sunlight. Theres about four different modes only used two and theyre still working. Seem to be completely waterproof and frost proof. They dont light up the patio and I didnt expect them to theyre just a charming addition to the garden and on a dark winter night they can be seen shining in the gloom. The only caveat, and why Ive given them 4 stars, is that the cable attaching to the solar panel is not robust and was pulled away by me but thats my fault for probably being too rough. Theres also not many lights to a string so depending on where theyre wanted you may need more than you think.
