    I bought into the Philips Hue eco system many years ago and was waiting for a smaller version of the colour GU10 the 2nd gen were much longer than this.Colour production is excellent and the smaller form factor is excellent. The Bluetooth compatibility is not something I will use as I have a hub, but for smaller installations I am sure its a great bonus.The price is always going to be a sour subject when it comes to Philips Hue, but with 40 Hue bulbs now in use in my home I can honestly say that the investment has been worthy of the high price tag. I couldnt really imagine going back to traditional light bulbs.No criticism of the product here, maybe 10 cheaper would be great… but thats wishful thinking

    This light is fantastic. A lot brighter than I expected for a battery operated light and makes gathering logs and peat from my woodshed a lot easier than using a torch. Feels very good quality and easy to install. Only recently installed it so cannot make any comment on battery life but using 4 xD type cells I assume it would be fairly long.
