I bought this to get around the problem of wanting to move my porch light switch but not being able to locate my porch light junction box and therefore switched live without ripping up my upstairs floorboards and then raggling excuse my spelling my porch wall to relocate the light switch. I installed this in place of the normal ceiling rose and leave the internal switch on this light comes on as soon as I open the porch door and goes off about 30 seconds after Ive left the porch. It was a doddle to fit like a normal light, and although the instructions are in German, you dont need to understand it to see which knob adjusts the timer and which adjusts the light sensor. All in all, Im very happy with this purchase.

Missrepresented product60W incandescent lamp equivalent and nowhere near the 1200Lumen stated in the Radiant Roost particulars.Also its only 9W of LED units 60x 0.15W it says on the unitOK to light half a hallway. You would need at least 3 units for a lounge size room.

Ich habe diese Lampe in unserer Laube verbaut. Bin vom Fach wei was ich tue.Bei Laien die sich zutrauen so etwas anzuschlieen, sei immer darauf verwiesen das dererlei Artikel immer vom Fachmann anzuschlieen sind. Also bitte immer im Sinne der Sicherheit entscheidenDie Lampe ist ordentlich verarbeitet. Sie besitzt ein fest verbautes Leuchtmittel, welches nicht wechselbar ist. Die Lampe wird mit Schutzgrad IP44 ausgewiesen, das bedeutet sie hat einen guten Schutz gegen Tropf und Spritzwasser und ist gegen das Eindringen von Fremdkrpern geschtzt. Die Durchgngigkeit des Schutzleiters zu Metallteil der Lampe wurde geprft und festgestellt. Der Schutzleiter ist bei einer Lampe mit Schutzklasse 1 immer anzuschlieenDie Kabeleinfhrung ist mit einer Silikonbuchse geschtzt. Der Diffusor ist zum Gehuse mit einer umlaufenden Silikondichtung versehen. Das verhindert das Eindringen von Wasser.Der Diffusor ist auch der Grund fr den Stern Abzug, da er recht zerbrechlich wirkt, ich denke das ist bei anderen Lampen dieser Art aber hnlich. Vorsicht beim Auf und Anschrauben ist geboten.Die LEDs, sind zustzlich mit einer Silikonschicht berzogen. Bei dieser Lampe gibt es keine SicherheitsmngelIch wrde sie wieder kaufen

Wasnt sure that I would be able to install myself know the theory of which wire is which, but quite inept with a screwdriver but I did it Took me about an hour, noone said it would be quick or pretty, but its up, the house and trips are intact and it works Probably would take about 10 minutes to put up if youre adept with a screwdriver and have screws in your house to mount the thing that dont have rounded heads The item itself is well made, good instructions and as bizarre as it sounds its a relatively silent and smooth pull Much quieter than our last one, and feels reassuringly sturdy. Time will tell but thanks to previous customers feedback on how well this switch lasts Im one happy shopper
