   Wasnt entirely sure what is really meant by daylight lamp. I work at home in a rather gloomy, windowless nook and bought it on the basis Id try anything to cheer it up Its amazing how much it improves the environment besides making it comfortable to work because you can see so clearly without getting a headache. The light is white and clear as day but doesnt wear you out the way fluorescent office light does. Looks reasonably stylish too.It needed assembling even though it said it didnt when I bought it but it wasnt rocket science. Went together without bother and is sturdy and stable. Decently priced too will get another one, perfect
