Bought this to brighten my face during winter Zoom calls on my laptop, hoping it would cast a strong but diffuse light without too much reflection in my glasses. I set it up behind my laptop, plugged into a mains USB charging port. I am not using the phone holders and the light is further away from my face than it would be for a phone user. For my use it needs to be set up on its tripod behind the laptop. Four stars rather than five because the light is not quite bright enough and there are circles reflected in my glasses. I think thats because it needs to be further away than it would be for phone users. Notably, when I hold the light closer at phone distance, it lights my face well and there are no reflections in my glasses. More comments Light nice to be able to swop settings between warmcoolblue, and to change brightness. Ive got it on the brightest, warm, setting. It is not blinding Its silent no nasty hums. Cable about 1.2 metres long, with the controls about halfway along Tripods both functional but lightweight, cant tell how they are meant to work differently as I am not using the light with a phone. Both can screw into the light itself, and both have a maximum height of about 15 cm to the base of the light with the legs fully extended. Im using the slightly neater looking Mini Tripod for iPhone Extendable which seems stable enough. The whole kit came in a good solid box with styrofoam securing the lamp. The English in the instruction manual was clearer than many, though still obviously a translation. Im not using the remote, nor the phone holders, so cant comment on those. Overall for a relatively low price Ive got much improved lighting for my laptop Zoom calls. And I imagine that if my kids ever decide to Vlog they would be able to use this with their phones to good effect.

Bonjour,je le reconnais jai hsit entre 4 et 5 toiles, 4 pour le prix car cest un peu cher, compter 129.90 pour 4 mtres au moment ou jcris ces lignes, par contre jai mis 5 toiles car a ma connaissance cest la seul marque de ruban led qui fontionne avec la synchro.Je mexplique, il existe un ruban led dune autre marque moins cher et compatible avec le Pont HUE, seulement lautre marque ne fait pas la synchro. Donc il reste que la marque officiel, aprs pour la synchro soit on achte un boitier prvu pour mais il est trs cher 250 euros minimum et en plus il est presque introuvable, ou soit on prend une box TV nimporte laquelle sous android ou alors on dispose dun tlviseur type smart TV, on tlcharge lapplication HUE et HUE stream, il convient davoir un Pont HUE a achet part compter 50 euros.Ensuite on configure son ruban, on le met en streaming via lappli et on lance un film, je prcise par contre a ne fonctionne pas avec les plateformes de types netflix ou autres cause je crois des droits DRM, donc a fonctionnera quavec un film maison ou ce genre de chose, You tube aussi fonctionne.Je prcise aussi que grce au pont on peut coupler aussi au ruban toutes les lampes estampills HUE de chez Philips et a cest trs bien car tout est centralis au mme endroit.Seul soucis linvestissement car il faut donc le Pont HUE 50 euros, le ruban 2 mtres 79.90 euros sans compter les extensions de ruban et ou autres lampes ou clairage de la marque. Iris living color ou autres.Mais le spectacle est au rendez vous
