have to take it off the ceiling and then put it back for it to turn on… I am not tall enough to do that.. husband or son has to do it..

I just bough a house a few months ago and Im in the process of renovating the basement. When I bought the house, the basement had three huge 80s style ceiling fans hanging down on extension rods, not even flushmount. Crazy. So I ripped those down and debated highhats vs. flush mount fixtures. Then I found these, which are way easier than ripping down drywall to insert cans into the ceiling. They mount completely flush and extend slightly under 1inch from the ceiling. It took me about 10 minutes to install two units in my basement. When theyre off you can barely see them, but when theyre on they look like holes in the ceiling with sunlight streaming through. I set both of mine to warm which is about equal to late afternoon sunlight. I really love these lights.
