once you get it together. I put it in a closet. Unfortunately, it is cheaply made and not as sturdy as I would have liked but, it didnt break while I put it together. I didnt screw it in but lay it on a box because it is a bit hard to get the pins to engage.

This light was easy to install and works really well. You need 4 C batteries, but they only are I use when triggered by motion. I bought a second one.

I bought this for a pantry. I looked over so many reviews of various lights thought this would be a winner. Unfortunately, the motion sensor didnt always work. Actually, it didnt work more than it did. The amount of light it provided for the pantry was great but its unreliability was an issue. Even when standing in front of it waving my hand back forth in the dark, it still wouldnt go on. Then suddenly on another attempt, it would. I ended up buying

Im giving this a 5 star because my second unit works and works great. I like how bright it is and it works like a charm on the ceiling of my linen closet. The first one I received was bogus. It just stayed on the whole time. But, got a replacement through Radiant Roost right away and installed it and havent looked back. Great little device.
