    So far Ive used about 20 of these in the house in various places and overall I think they are very good. Expensive, but good. I like the fact its so easy to change the colour of the white. The first hue spotlight bulb I bought was the normal white eg non ambiance and it was far too yellow. We like a much cooler white, as it mirrors daylight a lot better. Since switching to these ambiance bulbs, were delighted with the temperature of the white we can set it to. They arent the cheapest, or brightest on the market, but I like the hue app and integration with Alexa. Unfortunately, my wallet hasnt enjoyed Philips hue so much, and in that respect I sort of wish wed not got sucked into the whole Hue ecosystem Id say weve spent a good few hundred quid on various Hue bits around the home, including their lightstrip for behind the tv and a ceiling light for the porch.Interestingly Ive just started experimenting with addressable pixel tape leds from other manufacturers, and the effects you can get are much more impressive than anything Ive seen from Philips, but you just have to be prepared to fiddle around with it a lot more, whereas Philips integration is pretty straightforward as long as your not a complete smart home newbie luddite

    This was a perfect solution for my needs I wanted a light over our outside door so I could basically see to get my key in the lock and I didnt want the hassle of getting an electirc light fitted. It gives af a real good lighting area perfect for what I needed. It comes on perfectly and it took about 10 minutes to fit its really simple. Its made of Plastic like most products these days but it feels sturdy looks clean and classy . I cant comment on battery useage but they say 1year from the batteries with up to 10 activations per day, Well see. Id say check what you need it for but it was ideal for my needs and Id recommend it. Im very pleased.

    Der runde Hue Centura Einbauspot White Col. Amb. in Wei mit 350 Lumen und neuer zustzlicher Steuerung per Bluetooth aus dem Hause Philips.Dieser Spot kann so viel mehr als die blichen Spots und ist somit auch viel mehr als nur eine Lampe.Vornweg zum Einbau bentigt man neben einem 70mm Rundloch noch eine Einbautiefe von 10 cm.Bei uns war das dann auch schon das erste Problem, der angedachte Ersatz unserer alten Spots scheiterte leider an 15 20 mm, doppelte Lattung und Rigips reichten nicht aus. Aber da konnten wir Abhilfe schaffen, was in der Decke nicht geht , geht als Effektlampe auf dem Boden. Dazu wurde kurzerhand eine leere Sigkeitendose als Gehuse umfunktioniert.Zurck zum Hue Spot. Dieser hat in der Verpackung alles was fr den Einbau bentigt wird. Beim Anbringen der Klammern sollte man die Bedienungsanleitung in Augenschein nehmen, da man ansonsten die Klemmen evtl. nicht richtig einsetzt. Ist dies geschehen, dann kann der Korpus schon in den Deckenausschnitt eingesetzt werden. Der Anschluss des Sockels erfolgt per 240Volt Zuleitung, in welchen danach das GU10 Leuchtmittel per kurzer Drehung eingesteckt wird.Dank Bluetooth kann man die Leuchte nun auch per App ohne eine Hue Bridge nutzen, allerdings unter Verzicht auf diverse Funktionen welche dann doch der Bridge vorbehalten bleiben.Nach Einschalten des Stroms, wird die Lampe schnell erkannt und steht dann zum Steuern zur Verfgung.Mit ihren 320 Lumen entspricht sie hier in etwa einer 30 Watt Leuchte, wobei sie Spotlike einen kleinen Bereich entsprechend gut ausleuchtet. Ihre wahren Strken kommen aber erst durch Nutzung der Farbe zum Tragen, denn fast jeder Farbton kann aufgerufen und auch gedimmt werden. Toll ist es zB. wenn man Abends einen Kinofilm schauen mchte und die Beleuchtung dimmt sich langsam herunter und wechselt dann noch die Farbe.Wenn man einen Philips TV mit Ambilight oder die neue Hue Sync Box sein eigen nennt, dann kann man die Deckenbeleuchtung auch direkt in den gezeigten Film integrieren. Wird nun zB. das TVBild rot, dann wechselt die komplette Raumbeleuchtung auf Rot, oder halt auf Farben entsprechend dem Film, hierdurch wird der Kinoabend zum RundumErlebnis.Einbau und Einrichtung sind innerhalb von 1015 Minuten erledigt, die Freude daran aber hlt viel viel lnger, eine Anschaffung die sich wirklich lohnt. Wer dazu noch Alexa zuhause hat, kann nun auch von der Sprachsteuerung profitieren eine Rundum gelungene Sache fr jeden Smarthome Begeisterten.

    The light was fitted by an electrician so I cant comment on ease of installation. While aware the bulbs are not renewable in theory they have a long life. The brightness has opened up corners of my kitchen that were a little gloomy before

    Voll aus Metall gearbeitet und extrem stabil Verkabelung ein bischen fummelig aber lsbar wenn mann ein bischen geschickte Finger hat. Absolute Empfehlung, auch wenn leider kein Leuchtmittel Birne dabei ist. Hab eine GU10 LED reingemacht mit dem beiliegenden Saugnapf geht das problemlos, da fr die Finger kein Platz ist um die Birne einzusetzen.
