Just for clarity these are actually micro lights as opposed to the normal fairy lights i didnt realise when I ordered which makes them a lot more delicate and finer. Ive had micro lights before and found the tiny lights can easily break off although Im not saying this will happen to these. Just letting you know in case that makes a difference to you.But they give off a surprising amount of light and are very pretty. I also love the colour as they are a beautiful warm white as opposed to a blue light and I much prefer the warm light for the garden. They can also be used inside. The solar panel comes with a stake that can be put into the lawn or flower bed and also a different attachment together with some screws that could be screwed onto a fence panel for example…. Which I thought was a really nice touch. All in all very nice set of lights.

Had these lights for about a year and they worked fine until a heavy rain fall just recently when one failed. You need a small phillips screwdriver to take it apart. The casing is clipped toghether and you will need to gently prise it open with a regular screwdriver. The inner part flame section comes apart again witha small phillips driver. Opened mine up and yes there it was a few drops of water inside on the circuit. I was suprised at how the water got in as I have to say as I took the lamp apart it seemed very well put together. So not sure what failed. Anyway a quick dab round with a paper towel and a spray with some contact cleaner and bingo the light is working again. Not sure how long this will last but just thought I would share as it may help anyone who has one of these fail.

Ive revised this review because Oxyled have provided excellent customer followup and replaced the lights as some of the bulbs were not working. You need handle these lights gently as the glass of the bulbs is really thin, but once theyre in place they look good. I used them as Christmas lights strung up in front of the house and they look very decorative.
