    Using 10000mAh LSD NiMH Ccells, runtime is less than 25 of runtime with Alkaline cells. I think the motion sensor needs the extra 0.3 volts per cell to work correctly since it turns on and stays on when the NiMH cells get a bit low. Light is bright, smooth, and neutral, motion sensor works well with fresh batteries, and batteries are easy to swap. I use one over my kitchen sink as a task light, and one in my cluttered garage to safely navigate to the light switch.

    We are using this motionsensing light in our garage, and it turns on as soon as we open the door about 8 feet away.We have mounted it on the ceiling, but it could also be mounted on a wall. It was a job that took less than 5 minutes for my husband.The light is pretty bright considering its battery powered, and it creates a good pool of light within the whole garage space a larger than normal sized double, which is wider, longer and higher than standard. We no longer have to turn on the main strip lights to go in and get items out of the car or to get the salt for our water softener.The casing is bright white, so it is unobtrusive and blends in well. The lens cover is a frosted effect. It looks smart and functional when installed and we like it as its easier than using the main lights. If we have a power cut, we also will still have sufficient light to see what we are doing, which is an added bonus.5 stars

    Managed to install the light myself despite having no prior experience. You dont have to earth the light fitting as its plastic. The only tricky bit was attaching the wires while holding the light but I managed it in the end.Its being used in my bedroom measuring 5x4m and its very bright. May even be too bright for a smaller room. Ive set it to a warm light but I quickly tried out all the settings and the neutral one looks just like daylight.Only been in use for 2 weeks so I cant speak to its longevity but Im really pleased with the light so far.

    Ces ampoules varient en intensit et du blanc chaud au blanc froid, le tout avec un culot baonnette pile ce quil fallait pour lentre et la cuisine chez moi.Avec linterrupteur connect, cela me permettra davoir un clairage adapt au moment du jour plutt trs blanc le matin, assez jaune en fin de journe, et une simple veilleuse pour me dplacer sans maveugler la nuit.Le tout pour un prix conforme celui de la gamme Hue un peu lev, mais au vu de lefficacit du systme, je remplace progressivement toute ampoule de mon logement quand je le peux et que loccasion se prsente.A noter la compatibilit avec des interrupteurs classiques, lampoule sallumant alors selon un scnario dfini dans lapplication Hue pas de souci si on na pas investi directement dans un kit ampoules et interrupteurs, ou ampoules et dtecteur de prsence.
