    Works great I thought I was going to need to disable the lightdetection mechanism but this device works perfectly as is for my tiny bedroom closet. Nice bright light. My only gripe is that it is kind of an in your face light. I had to mount it closer to the wall rather than in the center of the closet ceiling because I didnt light that bright light right in my face when I walked in. Wonderful product for those looking for a simple and inexpensive solution rather than hiring an electrician to come out. I love that I dont have to deal with a light switch not that thats a big deal or anything but it is nice to just walk in the close and, boom, the light comes on.

    I have a hall coat closet that is just out of range of the hall light. It makes hunting for a dark jacket in the dark a pain. Since there is no electricity access that Im willing to tear up my drywall to get to, Ive suffered for years with limited light.While Im not a fan of battery lights due to the low lumens and the need for battery replacement, I thought the latest generation of LED lights might be worth a try.I purchased this Mr. Beams and an Ivation 8LED at the same time to try them both. I mounted the MB 80 on the closet ceiling and used the Ivation on a wall in a shed my 2nd occasional light need. Im very happy with the MB 80 and would use it again. The Ivation Im less happy with as its light output is much weaker.The Mr. Beam motion sensor works great in my application. The light comes on when the closet door opens and stays on long enough for coat hunting. 3 months later the Mr Beam batteries are still going.

    Mr. Beams erfllt seinen Zweck perfekt und sieht dabei auch noch gut aus. Wir wohnen in einem alten Bauernhaus und im dunklen Eingangsbereich gibt es keinen Strom. Mr. Beams ist schnell und einfach an die Decke geschraubt, das Licht ist sehr angenehm und leuchtet sogar noch die Treppe ausreichend aus. Ich kann den Artikel nur empfehlen

    Terrific light for my cloaks cupboard. I cant believe the light it gives out with just one LED. Id attached it to the ceiling using Command Damage Free Hangers, and so far, it has stayed put. Furthermore, it responds readily to movement, though I had to reposition it a couple of times to get the most effective response. Definitely recommended.

    actually a good product, well made and bright. Its not too light on batteries no pun intended, or really made so I use rechargeable ones. Two sets of four C Cells. The base plate screws onto the ceiling, and the main unit fits onto that, so easy to remove for battery replacement. I actually made a small marker pen line to better locate the correct position to refit the unit. Saves faffing about trying to work out which way round. I use two indoors but they would make an excellent shed light.

    these are quite nice, well packaged however the shade and the fitting clearly were not madedesigned together, it looks like they have just been paired together as you cannot screw them together very easily.

    We bought two of these for our outside barn as we wanted a rustic look. They do the job and we bought the Edison filament bulbs to go with it. Very pleased with the result. Just what we were looking for.The chain is quite long, which is handy. Great price, delivered in good time and well packaged.
