Weve had so many compliments on our lamp and for the price its excellent value. The recommended lamp shades came up a bit small, so I recommend going bigger for a more sleek look. We even got my mum one as a moving in present as she loved ours so much.

beautiful lamp, have to thread wires to assemble etc but pretty straight forward, looks lovely, like the adjustability, really nice wood and the metal bits look great, ive put an antique effect bulb for softer light and works great, really really happy with it, doesnt come with shade but found a perfect match for it

This is exactly the light I hoped it would be. The Uplighter is a soft white light, quite sufficient for reading or watching television or just chatting. The down light is easy to focus and bright enough to do cross stitch or bobbin lace.
