I bought the commander pro because Im using 5 corsair LL series fans in my mid tower. The pwn fan cables are not long enough unless I put the commander pro center on my case which wasnt doable in my case but 4 X 4 pin PWM fan extenders are provided which is great. I main gripe with this product is that the ports on the commander pro is laid out poorly in my opinion. The best place for my case was to insert the commander pro into a 3.5 drive bay towards the front bottom of my case NZXT H710 with the power port facing the side panel. It would be great if the ports for the temperature probes included was located to the opposite end of the power port. Its not a huge deal but where are these cases with room on the cases motherboard backwall to secure something the size of a commander pro Its not like I have a small case either. I spent the time to cable manage and installing the corsair commander pro and linking it to the RGB led hub took me around 2 hours to get everything squared away neatly…I really wish RGB controllers werent all proprietary tech specific to each manufacturer.

We really did want to like these but they just dont seem to get the job done for us. We bought these to try to use for video recording but instead, we ended up using natural light from the living room window.
