This product is simple to mount and it seems to operate fine. However I was very surprised by the indensity of the light. I mounted it in a closet about 3 feet from the entrance and the light was far too intense to be pratical. For the level of lighting I desired, I simply put a piece of tape over a portion of the the bulb until I got the illumination I wanted for the space.

We have a closet in our house where the light fixture went out. As a quick fix without having to call an electrician, we installed this motion sensor light. It works wonderfully. Its triggered by motion and the light is pretty bright but not super sterile or anything. It works fine in my small closet. What impressed me was how quickly it turned off. I was concerned that once on, the thing would never turn off but its usually off in about 10 seconds once Ive left the closet. I like that because its energy efficient.
