Caught these on a gold box deal. They are pretty cool. Takes C size batteries and really puts out a good bit of light. I have one in a bathroom so you can just walk in at night and be able to see what you are doing. Also another out by a back door so when you walk up at night without the light being on you can still see to unlock etc. Only thing is changing batteries. Ive only had to do it once so far in a year but that might be more depending on how often it is coming on and off. I keep batteries and multiple ladders and step stools around so for me its not a problem. Installs real easy too.

I have two Mr. Beams MB 980 lights. They work OK, but run through batteries way too fast. Using 4 Ccell batteries, I would expect over a year of run time, but in reality they only last about 24 months. Also, the light output is not great and is very directional. For example, I have one in my garage it will come on when someone enters the garage from either door, but the light is focused to a narrow spot in the center of the room, leaving the surrounding area pretty much invisible. The other one I use in an indoor hallway. Its position allows for acceptable illumination, but it too runs through batteries in about two months.

This is a great light. I installed it in the pantry which I had recently enclosed. The doors are louvered plantation style folding doors and I can tell you that its sensitive enough that when I just walk in front of them closed, it will turn on the light. Batteries for me tend to last a little less than a year but its not a problem to change them out. Ive had mine for over two years and love it.

I bought this for our Shower. I secured it to the ceiling using double sided Velcro tape. It works GREAT Very bright, motion activated, quick to come on, good for use indoors and out so its water resistant, no complaints

A good light in every way for my purpose as illumination over a front door to make finding your key much easier. It is fairly bright, only has a quite narrow beam about 8 feet spread from a six foot height and operates from a distance of about 20 feet. I have it fixed horizontally above the door. So far, the batteries have lasted well about 2 months and show no sign of running down.As I said, perfect for my purpose as a courtesy light its intended use but, if you need a security light, go for something brighter.

These lights are cheap and look good once up so for that aspect I would say 4.5.However the instructions are wrong in a few ways. The 1st set I got were red and blue wires as per the instructions but the second set were all white and black wires. Ie different to the instructions. Its not hard to Google that one, but still… also the wires werent exposed so you need a wire stripper or be delicate with a sharp knife .The instructions s refered to letters E and F supposedly in the diagram but they werent there .The connector unit was poor quality and a few of the screws would not turn as if the thread had gone. This rendered the connector unit useless and a fix was made to get it earthed.Overall a 3.

In meiner ersten Bestellung waren 3 Stck dieser Sorte mit dabei.Mein Ziel war es diese Lampen mithilfe einer HueBridge in mein Smarthome System zu integrieren.Anfangs war ich noch etwas skeptisch da ich fr SmartHome Lampen hhere Preis gewohnt war.Das einbinden war super einfach und sie lassen sich auch im Apple Home steuern. Dann noch zu diesem Preis, der absolute Knaller Habe deswegen noch 3 weitere bestellt Beim Auspacken und Montieren der Deckenlampen war ich positiv angetan. Die Qualitt ist wirklich on Point. Jeder Horst der wei wie man eine Sicherung ausschalten kann bekommt die Lampen montiert.Halterung an die Decke schrauben , 2 Drhte in die Wagoklemmen stecken und in die Halterung drehen, fertig Auch die Helligkeit ist fr meine Zwecke mehr als ausreichend.Aktuell habe ich die Lampen in der Kche, Hausgang 3 Stck, WC und in meiner Abstellkammer verbaut.Wer auf ein schlichtes Design, Technik und gute Helligkeit, wert legt, dem kann ich diese Lampen definitiv empfehlen
